A very big thank you to all those who participated in this year's BDA Golf Day, which was held 7thSeptember 2018, at one of Yorkshire's best golf courses - Woodsome Hall in Huddersfield. And what a great day it was too, with tremendous feedback including that of Roger Chandler of Keynetix who said: "Thank you for putting on such a great day. It was my first corporate golf day and I enjoyed it a lot and made some useful contacts.  The day was well organised, and the venue was first class."

The results of the Mining Trophy, the 10-hole competition were 1st place Michael May (Geoterra) and Mark Hudson of (Geoterra), 2nd place Kevin Goodfellow (Equipe Group) and Jason Miles (Equipe Group) and 3rd Steve Marshall (Applied Geology) and Geoff Wiggin (Applied Geology).

The results of the Eddie Burke Competition, 18-holes, were 1stplace Michael May (Geoterra), 2nd place Jonathon Symonds (M & J Drilling) and 3rd place Carl Grice (Equipe Group). Nearest the pin was Roger Chandler (Equipe Group) on the 3rd, Steve Sandie (Global Geotech) on the 10th and the longest drive was Simon Leeming (Geoterra) on the 14th.
