The British Drilling Association (BDA) is continuing to grow signing up three new members in August. The new members to the BDA are: Quantum Geotechnic, Lankelma and Geostrong.
The addition of these new companies to the Association widens the BDA’s membership further and moves it closer towards one of its primary goals of being able to fully represent not only the drilling industry, but also those companies peripheral to the sector, and at all levels – industry and government.
Speaking about the new members, Martyn Brocklesby, Chair of the BDA, said: “The addition of these three new members to the Association is a great endorsement of work of the Association and its aims. The unique skills and insight these companies have of the drilling sector will greatly enlarge the BDA’s knowledge base, as well as allowing it to better represent the drilling industry, both within the sector and at a more strategic level as a specialist contractor in construction and those industries peripheral to the drilling sector. As the BDA drives forward standards, innovation and critical issues such as best practice and health & safety, new member input will be invaluable.”
Membership of the BDA is open to enterprises such as companies, partnerships and sole traders etc., contractors that have proof their drilling operatives either have, or are registered to take, NVQ Land Drilling, Level 2, non-contracting suppliers and consultants.
