British Drilling Association Audit – Update

Following its suspension due to COVID-19, we are delighted to announce that the British Drilling Association (BDA) Audit scheme is up and running in response to industry demands.

The BDA’s Auditors (Andy Frogley, Phil Dainton and Lee Allardyce) will carry out a pre-assessment of the Audit location before visiting site to ensure that anti COVID-19 transmission arrangements are in place and the Audit will include confirmation that the site, workers, machinery and working method includes COVID-19 measures.

The BDA is working within management and sub-committees, with Equipe Training and awarding bodies, to finalise and launch a new and improved audit within the next few weeks, with the longer term aim of a more robust internal verification and third-party accreditation of the scheme.
