BDA Supports Safe Hands Campaign

The British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to lend its support to Scottish Rail’s “Safe Hands Campaign”, which is being rolled out across Scotland’s Railway, to raise awareness of hand injuries and the types of works where injuries occur. This hazard is also common in our industry.

Specifically, the objective of the campaign is to raise awareness on:

• Most common hand injuries
• Reason for hand injuries
• Hand Hazards
• Pinch Points
• What can you do?

With estimates suggesting almost 20% of all disabling accidents on the job involving the hands, this is an important issue and campaign, and the BDA would like all its members to take note and keep our hands safe as well.
