BDA Five-A-Side Football Tournament 2025

The British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to announce its 2025 Five-A-Side Football Tournament will be held 28^th June, at Goals Leeds.

As with previous years, the tournament will follow a group format, followed by a knockout element for group winners and runners-up, and is open to teams from any BDA member company.

It costs just £100 per team to enter, and the details are:

• Each team should consist of 8 players maximum (5 players minimum – but this is not advised)
• Team members to provide their own kit – bibs will be supplied (by venue) to distinguish teams
• Maximum number of teams is 16 (based on first come/pay basis)
• Venue will provide – pitch; balls; bibs; FA/SFA qualified referees; First Aid person at venue
• Pitches are artificial – we suggest that players wear long tracksuit-style bottoms and trainers
• Players/Teams need to take out own insurance, as required (venue only covers for venue employees)

As is tradition, there’s usually a bit of a social gathering – food, drinks, etc., after the event. Please note, this is not organised by the BDA, but if you’re keen to join in, feel free to make your own arrangements with fellow attendees.
