BDA Chair to Present at Coal Authority Workshop in Newcastle – 18 October 2023

BDA Chair, Paul McMann, will be delivering a presentation at the upcoming “Coal Authority Permitting Customer Engagement Workshop“, on October 18^th at the Leonardo Hotel Newcastle (formerly Jurys Inn).

In a concerted effort, the BDA is collaborating closely with the Coal Authority and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to lead a series of workshops that span across Scotland, England, and Wales. These workshops are aimed at completely overhauling the permitting system in areas once dominated by coal mining, paving the way for a safer and more sustainable future.

The primary objective of this seminar is to nurture a more engaged stakeholder community, streamlining collaboration with the Coal Authority, HSE, and the BDA.
