BDA Nominations and Election Process – New BDA Management Committee Representatives

The British Drilling Association (BDA) is initiating its Nominations and Election process in February 2025, to recruit new members for the BDA Management Committee.

To encourage full participation by all members and ensure transparency, the BDA has commissioned CICIVA Election Services to organise this digitised process, as they did in 2024.

From Monday, 24^th February 2025, BDA members will receive a ‘request for nominations’ from eligible individuals of member companies, with the nomination window closing on Monday, 10^th March 2025, at 12 noon.

• Request for nominations open: Monday, 24^th February 2025
• Nominations closes: Monday, 10^th March 2025

Following a brief interval, the election process will commence, if required, with the following schedule:

• Candidate verification: Friday, 14^th March 2025
• Ballot opens: Monday, 24^th March 2025
• Reminder email: Monday, 31^st March 2025
• Ballot closes: Monday, 7^th April 2025

Those elected to the Main Committee will be informed upon the conclusion of the process and officially announced at the BDA Annual General Meeting, which is scheduled to take place on the morning of 21^st May 2025.

BDA members are advised to check their email inboxes for election information and requests, from 24^th February 2025 onwards.
