The British Drilling Association (BDA) is ringing in the New Year with the addition of six new members to the Association. The new members are: I D Drilling, Fontus Water Ltd, Ian Farmer Associates, John Grainger Ltd, Minova Weldgrip Ltd, and Asset & Infrastructure Engineering.
The addition of these new companies to the Association widens the BDA’s membership considerably and moves it closer towards one of its primary goals of being able to fully represent the drilling industry at all levels – industry and government.
Speaking about the new members, Martyn Brocklesby, Chair of the BDA, said: “The addition of these new members is a great start to the New Year and a welcome endorsement of the Association and its aims. The unique skills and insight these companies have of the drilling sector will enlarge the BDA’s knowledge base, as well as allowing it to better represent the drilling industry, both within the sector and at a more strategic level as a specialist contractor in construction. As the BDA drives forward standards, innovation and critical issues, such as best practice and health & safety, new member input will be invaluable”
Membership of the BDA is open to enterprises such as companies; partnerships; sole traders; contractors that have proof their drilling operatives either have, or are registered to take, NVQ Land Drilling, Level 2; non-contracting suppliers and consultants.
