BDA Webinar – Interpreting Groundwater Levels from Geotechnical Data – 19th February 2025

The British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to announce its first webinar of 2025, titled: “Interpreting Groundwater Levels from Geotechnical Data”, scheduled for 19th February 2025, at 1pm.

This FREE TO ATTEND one-hour session will be delivered by Dr Martin Preene, Technical Director at Coffey Geotechnics Limited, and a globally recognised expert in groundwater control. Dr Preene will explore how groundwater level data is critical to geotechnical and geoenvironmental design. He will share insights into challenges with data interpretation, variability in groundwater levels, and the importance of conceptual models.

Topics Covered:

  • Data sources: observations during drilling, monitoring wells
  • Public domain data
  • Assessing groundwater levels effectively
  • Conceptual models and their role in accurate interpretation

This webinar is essential for geotechnical engineers, hydrogeologists, and anyone involved in groundwater management and construction projects.
